Andrew, I appreciate the feedback. I think there is more about my head and heart in these last couple ones. I guess I’m at that point in the story. When I was single and going to parties it was more about the event. Now it is more about the relationship. I thought people might be disappointed with less sex, but much like yourself, everyone I have heard from has found these last few very sexy. It’s good to know.

HOLY SHIT the podcast is incredible. It is both amazingly sexy and poignant to listen to someone bear their heart the way you do. Thanks, Shari, CL, and Jack. And thanks, Jack for your response about being in similar situations. Sometimes when I talk to poly people they make it sound like having sex outside your primary relationship or having more than one partner is really easy. And that jealousy is just a man-made emotion. Conceptually, any form of non-monogamy makes sense to me, but creating and maintaining an open relationship is way more difficult to digest than the concept. At least for me, which is why I wrote this piece and, really, which is why I created this podcast — to work some things out and try and gain more understanding. I think you touch on something that really rings true for me — decisions made when calm and happy can seem absurd when we are having a bad day or feeling needy or so on. Well said. I think it takes everyone a while to figure out the right combination of monogamy or non-monogamy. Good luck on your travels and thanks for your opinion. xxMia

I’ve very much been in this position. A lot of discussion and decisions and negotiation feel resolved and stable, but after the fact emotions can go all sorts of directions. Likewise the choices we make when we are calm and happy can seem absurd when we are having a bad day or feeling needy or so on.

Living this kind of life of adventure can be amazing, but can also be so trying. I’m still trying to find my way in it. Trying not to break any hearts and trying to be as honest as I can be, with myself and my partners.

Sometimes both alternatives, being single and wild or being monogamous, seem far more attractive. Sometimes I wonder if the way I feel now is just a phase. Sometimes I feel like once to poly/swinger/non-monogamous door is open it would be impossible to go back.

It’s nice hearing it in someone else’s words.

FWIW, I thought the dialogue worked out fine — I had no problem with who the speaker was. But heck, you could read the freaking dictionary and it would sound fine!

I must say I TOTALLY loved the BJ Backlash story!

I am a 34 year old guy and I started listening to your podcasts last spring just to get my “rocks off” during my commute to work,

But I must say, my favorite parts of your stories are the “real world” scenarios you describe!

Like when a guy cant get his cock hard, how some parties don’t interest you.. or in this case ,your conflict and confusion with Carmen

Those types of moments really add textures to your story telling I believe

Your sex stories are almost better then the real thing !! hahaha
