Also, if you can find any sort of swinger meet up events, you can find the parties. I think in many smaller towns the parties tend to be in people’s homes.

Just found your podcasts a few days ago, and I’ve never had such a grin when I walk into my lectures, people swear I’ve been up to no good! I must say that I agree with people about you having a sexy voice, it just adds to the great writing.

I am LOVING the stories, unfortunately over here it is more difficult to find these kinds of parties, especially as I found out how much I do enjoy my fair share of spanking, both giving and receiving so ultimately I have to ask if you know of any parties on the “other side of the pond”, as I am from the UK.

You are so right about smells — they can transport us to places in our memory. And I am bad about writing about them. Lots of times I try and insert some sort of smell, but end up taking it our cause it doesn’t feel right. Or, I just don’t remember what the place smelled like or the place really had no significant smell. But smell is an important element and I should work on those details. Thanks for the suggestion.

I know exactly what you mean about dry and raw feeling of Las Vegas. I’ve felt that. I love that dry heat. Mostly NY stinks. At the pirate party there was not much of a salty seashore smell, but a moldy sea algae smell. Should have noted that somewhere in the story. Anyway, thanks for your comment and suggestion.

While I’m thinking about it I was wondering if you could add smells to your stories. For instance, the boat in lip service was in a harbor or pier right? Could you smell the salt in the air, taste the humidity? Just enough to set the scene. Smells have a transporting quality. When I visit friends in Nevada I instantly feel Las Vegas is dry and raw – my breathe is deeper and causes an instant light headedness.
