I am not a huge fan of Velcro cuffs, mostly because of the noise they make when you take them off. It can be a major buzz kill. However, every toy has a time and a place. And when the time and the place are right, the Under the Bed Restraint System can be an easy way for the domme to control the sub.
It took a bit of mattress moving to get the straps set, but this task can be pawned off to the submissive, which was I. Finagling the straps under the bed was mildly annoying, but I was able to replace annoyance with excitement of what was to come. Because we agreed the Velcro adjustment noise is not so sexy, my domme attached the cuffs around my wrists and ankles before we started the scene.
I set up the straps to hang off the head and the foot of the mattress like my domme told me and I adjusted the straps to what looked like a good length. Surprisingly he did not hook me into the set up immediately upon his entrance in the room. But he is good at keeping me guessing like that. After verbally humiliating me, my domme pushed me on the bed, belly down. He locked my wrists in, pulled me up by my center so that I was on all fours, moved me so that my ankles hung off the mattress, locked my ankles in, and I was his. By the end of our scene, I was no longer thinking about the tacky Velcro noise.
