I am not a huge fan of Velcro cuffs, mostly because of the noise they make when you take them off. It can be a major buzz kill. However, every toy has a time and a place. Finagling the straps under the bed was mildly annoying, but I was able to replace annoyance with excitement of what was to come. I set up the straps to hang off the head and the foot of the mattress like my domme told me and I adjusted the straps to what looked like a good length.
